Since we never want you to run out of ideas when it comes to your looks, we thought it would only be right to give you a nifty range of autumn make-up inspiration. Well, what are you waiting for?

6 Autumn make-up looks to keep you slaying the colder weather

There’s a slight chill to the morning air, it’s starting to get light slightly later in the mornings, the shops are filling up with long sleeved options, and the trees are slowly but surely beginning to change colours; this can only mean one thing: winter is coming! Yip, we are officially in autumn, so you can officially bring those orangey-gold eyeshadow hues and burgundy lipsticks out of hibernation… yippee!

1. Orange is in

We’re sure most people see the orange shade of eyeshadow in their make-up palette and give a slight shudder while declaring that it will never be used. Well, if this pic doesn’t prove that it can look all kinds of fabulous when paired with a touch of gold, a dewy face and a pretty toned-down lip, we don’t know what will. Hello, autumn!

2. Berry nice

Nothing is more appropriate for the change of season than a combination of warm berry colours and gold – as this picture proves. For a bold version of this look, pair this fab eyeshadow with a bold berry lip, or opt for a neutral one for a look that’s all about the eye.

3. All that glitters

Your night-out looks don’t have to be dreary just because the weather might be. Get that wine-stained look on your lip and pair it with a glittery eye; as we’ve mentioned, gold and berry colours couldn’t be more perfect for this season!

4. A touch of pink

Deep pinks are a stunning autumn colour and compliment so many skin tones. Experimenting with pink eyeshadow and a nude lip is a sure-fire winning look. Add a few coats of mascara to make your eyes really pop and some highlighter to your face to give it a glow, and you’re good to go.

5. Next level neutrals

A neutral look is a general go-to for this time of the year, and we just love this one. A fab nude lip, bronzed dewy skin, stand-out lashes and illuminated eyes can go from day to night without too much effort on your part at all.

6. Red Lips

Red lips are always in, but based on runway looks, we should be seeing them everywhere this autumn – and we’re pretty happy about that. Choose a bold colour that suits your skin tone, make sure your lips are well exfoliated and get ready to turn heads.
